Minion Enterprise gathers data from all managed servers into tables in the Collector schema. The moment you configure an instance in the dbo.Servers table, Minion Enterprise begins pulling in a stunning array of data: service status, disk space, backups, database properties, logins and users, table sizes, and on and on. All of this data from across your enterprise is now updated and available in one central repository, ready for alerts, and reporting, and planning for the future.
Collections
Like we said in the Quick Tour of the Modules, Minion Enterprise gathers data from all managed servers into tables in the Collector schema. It does this via a set of jobs that come pre-configured when you install ME.
Note that each collector is divided into one or more jobs based on SLA. GOLD level servers receive all of the collctions; and, collections run the most frequently for GOLD level servers. Collectors run less frequently for SILVER servers, and less frequently (or not at all) for BRONZE.
