- Did you install the license as instructed? And, did it return "1" when it finished?
- Is the Windows version 2012 R2 or above?
- Is the SQL Server instance version 2012 or above?
- When did you run the install? If it was a very recent installation, it's possible that collections have not started yet. See the Quick Start Guide section "Optional: Jump Start your Collectors" to kick off key collectors manually.
- Did you configure initial servers and settings? (See the Quick Start Guide.) Did you set the servers to IsActive=1 in the dbo.Servers table?
- Have you renamed or deleted the "sa" login? This may cause installation to fail.
- Have you disabled the "sa" login? While this may cause problems with the installation, it may cause problems with running Minion Enterprise jobs.
- Do the Minion database files already exist, under another database name? If so, create the Minion database yourself, using alternate file names. Then re-run the installation.
Additionally, you can check the Windows Event Viewer (specifically, the Application log) for further errors and information.
