Minion comes with a number of profiles to send alert emails.  The question we most often get is why are there so many instead of just one?  Well, the answer lies in the usability of Minion.  Instead of having a single generic mail profile, we give you one for each type of alert you receive.  Having a separate profile for each type of alert allows you to know something about the alert without even opening it, and even if you're on your phone.  The key is in the From portion of the alert.  You can get alerts coming from Backups or from CheckDB or from Admin Accounts, etc.

You can see from the screenshot above that it's really easy to search for alerts in a list of emails because they're all from different profiles.  We even give you useful information in the subject so you can see how important something is without even opening it.

You're free to change any aspect of these that you like, but you shouldn't change the account name because we use that to manage the accounts.  So we're expecting the account names to stay as they are.  You're free to change those as well if you like, but you won't be able to manage them with our tools.
