Minion Library (ML) is a code library for everyone! ML allows you to store, organize, share, and document code of all types.

Features:

  • Save code from multiple languages in a single location
  • Effortless click-to-copy
  • Define code processes, with multiple steps
  • Strong visual organization
  • Save code attributes without cluttering code (documentation, notes, source, created date, last modified date, etc.)
  • Backup and restore your library
  • Maintain multiple libraries easily
  • Share code libraries

Here are a few use cases:

Sarah is a DBA who uses Minion Library to save commonly used T-SQL scripts and PowerShell commands. She has top-level categories for Backup, Maintenance, Security, Information, and Miscellaneous, with subdivisions underneath. When the company hires a junior DBA to join the team, Sarah is delighted to share the code repository with him. It’s both a company-specific reference, and a teaching tool!

Robert is a C# coder who wants to standardize reusable pieces of code, like certain formatting functions. His team has a separate version control software for projects, but these bits of code aren’t project specific. He uses Minion Library to categorize and save these snippets and make them available to the team.

Emily installed Minion Library on her laptop, and keeps two ML repositories: one for code examples in her college programming classes, and another for her personal coding and scripting portfolio. It’s been very helpful to be able to save screenshots, tables, and test data along with the notes and scripts themselves.
