The operational window icon opens business-hour, peak-hour, maintenance-window, blackout-window, alert-blackout, and collection-blackout details for the server.

Icon Meanings {#detail}

No windows recorded Gray means no operational-window rows exist for this server in the current repository data.
Windows exist Blue means one or more business, maintenance, blackout, alert, or collection windows exist for this server.

The icon is a clock inside a window because the data is broader than a calendar appointment. It can mean weekly maintenance, normal business hours, peak hours, alert blackout, or collection blackout.

Window Types {#window-types}

  • Business hours: normal operating hours for the application or business team.
  • Peak hours: high-load periods where noisy work should be avoided.
  • Maintenance window: approved time to perform planned maintenance.
  • Blackout window: period where changes, alerts, or collection activity may need special handling.
  • Alert blackout: period where alerts may be suppressed.
  • Collection blackout: period where collectors may pause or skip work.

Grid Behavior {#grid-behavior}

  • Gray means no operational windows are recorded.
  • Blue means at least one window row exists.
  • Hovering opens the operational-window popup.
  • The popup shows the window count and rendered note details.
  • Use Add / edit window... to create or change operational windows.

Walkthrough {#walkthrough}

  1. Open the Servers grid.
  2. Find the clock-window icon in the decorator column.
  3. Hover the icon to read the current operational windows.
  4. Click Add / edit window... to add business hours, maintenance windows, blackout windows, alert pauses, or collection pauses.
  5. Save the window and return to the grid.

The icon turns blue once the server has at least one operational-window row.
